Registered Teacher of the Alexander Technique in West London

Hello,

My name is Trish Wade and I'm a qualified teacher of the Alexander Technique and a registered member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT).

I graduated in 2001, and have been teaching the Technique ever since then in Ealing, West London, where I live with my husband Richard.

I first started taking lessons myself in 1995 and went on to complete the three year, full time training course needed to qualify as a teacher of the Technique.

I trained at the Constructive Teaching Centre in Holland Park London under Walter Carrington who, until his death in 2006, was one of the few remaining "first generation" teachers who had been taught by FM Alexander himself, who first created the Technique.

The Alexander Technique is a safe, gentle and reliable experience that can be learned by anyone and provides a sense of well being that can be of benefit to any age group.

It is also a simple and practical way to address conditions linked to undue tension and general poor posture. This include difficulties with co-ordination and movement, joint, back or muscle problems and a range of other conditions.

This website gives a brief insight into the Alexander Technique, what it is and how it originated. It also explains what happens in a lessons and how to book them with me in Ealing.

I hope you find it helpful and if you have any questions, please feel free to telephone or email me to book lessons.

 Trish
